RED ROVER vintage object sculpture 1000 PIECES no. 28

Red Rover, Red Rover let blog readers come over...

We used to play this game all the time on my street growing up, that means I'm old.

Red Rover is a really good dog and number 28 in my series of 1000 Pieces. He was created with a red vintage metal flashlight, copper salt & pepper shakers and old muffin tins. He stands 10" tall and 9" long, his head moves up and down and his tail goes up. Red Rover is named, signed, dated, recycled and one of a kind.

A lot of these look a little Wallace and Grommet. I must show my son, he'll like them, I'm sure!

Thanks cicada, I am generally a big hit with little kids. Unfortunately they have no money.

Guess that means I'm old too... we played Red Rover on the school oval constantly until some kid broke his collarbone, and they banned it.

I love this sculpture!! But you know I'm a fan...
